Who we are
Full Scale is run by Ben Pollin and Sam Pollin in Manchester. Contact ben@fullscalegrowth.com. We decide how your details are used.
What we collect
Our booking form asks for your name, business, mobile and email (so we can reply and call you), and, to save time on the call: your website, Instagram or Facebook page, industry, town or postcode, what you need help with, roughly what your business takes and spends on marketing a month, the biggest thing holding you back, and when you want to start. Every one of these except name, business, mobile and email is optional, and you can write "rather not say" or leave it blank. Plus the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link, so we know which adverts and pages work. If you book a call, the details you give the booking tool.
If you don't finish the form
If you start our booking form but don't get to the end, we keep what you've typed so far, so Sam can call you or send one email to help you finish, rather than losing your enquiry. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing ben@fullscalegrowth.com.
Before we call you
Before your call, we look at information about your business that's already public: your website, your public listings (like Google and social media), your reviews, any ads you're running, and public company records. We do this to make the call useful to you, not to catch you out. We may use an AI service to help us read and summarise what we find; a person always checks it before the call. We never buy data about you, and we never research you as a private individual, only the business you told us about.
If we emailed you first
We sometimes email limited companies in the building and home-improvement trades in North West England to offer our service. We only email companies (limited companies and LLPs), never sole traders. We get the company name and its director's name from Companies House, and the email address from the company's own website or public listings. We never guess addresses and never buy lists. We keep the company name, director's first name, email, website, town, trade and the public facts we noticed about the business, so the email is relevant and we don't email you twice. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering our service to businesses that may need it. Reply "stop" to any of our emails, or email ben@fullscalegrowth.com, and we'll never email you again; we keep your address on a do-not-email list only so that we can honour that. If you don't reply, we delete your details within 6 months of our last email.
Recording your call
We record our calls with you, and we tell you at the start of the call. The recording is written out as text, sometimes with help from an AI service, so we can remember what you told us, follow up properly and improve how we work. Recordings and notes are kept with your enquiry and deleted on the same timetable (see How long we keep it). If you'd rather not be recorded, just say so on the call and we won't.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare for and arrange the call you asked for, and to see which of our marketing works. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We never sell your details.
Who else handles it
Zoho, our email provider, stores enquiries in its EU data centres. Vercel hosts this website. GoHighLevel, our booking and customer system, stores your enquiry, your form answers, any call you book, and our call recordings and notes. Anthropic, an AI provider, if we use AI to help prepare for your call. Meta, if you click one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts or fill in one of our forms on Facebook, and (only if you accept cookies) to measure our adverts. Google Workspace and Instantly, which we use to send and receive our emails to businesses. Each acts on our instructions.
How long we keep it
If we don't end up working together, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we work together and then as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Counting visits and clicks
We also count visits and clicks on this site ourselves, to see which pages and buttons work and to fix ones that don't. This doesn't use cookies, and we don't store your IP address. The enquiry details you type into our forms are stored separately so we can reply to you, as above. We keep this visit and click data for 13 months.
Your approximate town on our industry pages
On our industry pages, the sample shows your approximate town, worked out from your internet connection by our hosting provider. We use it only to change that word on the page. We don't store it or link it to you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing ben@fullscalegrowth.com. We'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
